Lucy Staniforth added to World Cup squad standby list

Lucy Staniforth has joined the England squad on standby for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The Aston Villa midfielder will join the group at St. George’s Park today and replaces Jess Park who will return to Manchester City for rehabilitation on her shoulder injury.
Staniforth joins Maya Le Tissier on standby and both will remain with the squad until the opening match against Haiti in Brisbane on 22 July.
England face Portugal on Saturday 1 July in a send-off international at a sold-out Stadium MK and then fly to Australia on Wednesday 5 July.
