England squad updates: Senior, WU23s & WU19s

As our England women's squads meet up for February's international camp, find out all the latest news, including updates on Fran Kirby and Leah Williamson

3.55pm, Sunday 25 February

Fran Kirby has withdrawn from the England camp in Spain and will return to Chelsea for further assessment on a minor knee injury reported before the Austria match. At this stage, there are no plans to call a replacement into the senior squad.

2pm, Monday 19 February

Sheffield United goalkeeper Fran Stenson has been called up to the England women’s under-23s squad for the upcoming camp in Marbella, whilst Kayla Rendell and Maisie Symonds have withdrawn.

Emma Coates’ side first play Spain on Thursday 22 February before facing the Netherlands in a European league fixture on Monday 26 February.

Leicester City forward Ava Baker and Southampton defender Megan Collett have been called up to the England women’s under-19s squad for the upcoming fixtures against France and Norway. The duo replace Freya Godfrey and Katie Reid who have withdrawn.

6pm, Sunday 18 February

Millie Turner has been called up to the England squad for this month’s fixtures with Austria and Italy being played in southern Spain.

The Manchester United defender replaces Leah Williamson, who has withdrawn after missing out for Arsenal at the weekend with an injury. Turner featured in the Lionesses’ last squad of 2023.

The 23-strong squad will travel to Spain on Monday where they will play two fixtures at the Estadio Nuevo Mirador in Algeciras, starting with Austria on Friday 23 February (7.45pm GMT) followed by Italy on Tuesday 27 February (5pm GMT).
