The UEFA EURO 2024 ‘resale window’, whereby ESTC members could return tickets they had for this summer’s tournament, has now closed. Below, we outline the next steps for those who are on the waiting list.

The UEFA EURO 2024 ‘resale window’, whereby ESTC members could return tickets they had for this summer’s tournament, has now closed.

We can report that the following number of tickets were returned for each match:

Serbia v England: 121
Denmark v England: 144
England v Slovenia: 218

Each match had tickets returned in every category, including a small number of Wheelchair and Easy Access.

A total of 1,009 eligible ESTC members placed themselves on the waiting list for tickets.

Members will be informed if they are guaranteed a ticket in sale window 1 or if they are entered into sale window 2 (see below).

How the sale will work

There will be two sale windows.  Supporters will be sent access codes to enter these sales.

The sales will take place via UEFA’s ticketing platform.

Sale Window 1: 12 midday Monday 18 March 2024 until 11.30am on Tuesday 19 March 2024

Sale Window 2: 12 midday Tuesday 19 March until sold out

You will be able to purchase up to 4 tickets in total, assuming the other 3 members have also received access codes.

Members who are under the age of 18 will be unable to purchase a ticket by themselves. U16s need to enter the stadium with an adult.

If you do not already have an account with UEFA, you will be required to create one in order to enter the sale.

For a detailed list of sale information and instructions, please click here.

Please note: a number of supporters applied via the waiting list who were not members of the England Supporters Travel Club.  In these cases, supporters will see ‘FAN not found: Not ESTC Member’ in their field for each match.

Sale Window 1

The first sale window will prioritise ESTC members on the waiting list with the highest caps totals for each match.

During this sale window, all members with an access code will be guaranteed a ticket (but not guaranteed a specific category).

Members who are ‘successful’ for sale window 1 will be informed ahead of time that they are guaranteed a ticket.

I.e., for Serbia v England, we will send access codes to 121 ESTC members who filled out the waiting list for tickets to this match, based on their caps total.  We will do the same for each match.  The number of successful members will correspond to the number of tickets available.

Sale Window 2

The second sale window will be for all eligible ESTC members who filled out the waiting list form.

During this window, all remaining members who filled out the waiting list will be sent an access code to the matches they applied for.

Ticket sales during this window will be on a first-come-first-served basis. No member is guaranteed a ticket during this sale window.

Tickets will remain on sale until sold out.

Members who did not purchase in sale window 1 will still be able to purchase during sale window 2, but will not be guaranteed a ticket at this stage.

What if I can get a ticket via UEFA’s General Sale?

All ESTC members who do not yet have a ticket to a specific match are still eligible to purchase in any UEFA sale.  However, if you do purchase from UEFA’s general sale, you will be unable to also purchase any tickets from the ESTC waiting list allocation.

Should you end up purchasing tickets in both, you run the risk of both orders being cancelled.

Emails and Access Codes

All VALID ESTC members who completed the waiting list form will receive two emails.  The first email will include the results for those entered into sale window 1.

If you are successful for sale window 1, you will see an access code next to the match(s) you applied for.  If you are not entered into sale window 1, you will see ‘sale window 2’ next to the match you applied for.

The second email will be for sale window 2.  All ESTC members who applied for a match, and who were not included in sale window 2, will now see an access code next to the corresponding fixture.
