Chloe Kelly on 'unbelievable' night as Lionesses make EUROs final

Chloe Kelly was buzzing after England booked their place in the final of EURO 2025 on a night of high drama against Italy.

The Lionesses looked set to suffer semi-final disappointment until Michelle Agyemang equalised in the dying seconds to take the match to extra time, with Kelly scoring a penalty rebound to win it 2-1.

The attacking midfielder once again made a huge impact off the bench and could not hide her delight at progressing to a third consecutive major final.

Kelly said: "It's unbelievable, such a great feeling. This team deserve nothing but that.

"Three finals on the bounce and we want more. This is an unbelievable feeling.

"I just try my best for the team. It [the penalty] wasn't supposed to go in like that but I was ready for the rebound like I'm ready for any opportunity given to me wearing an England badge.

"I was confident obviously but the keeper had done her homework. Luckily I got there for the tap-in."

Agyemang was also decisive as a substitute, first drawing her side level and then going close to scoring an exceptional winner of her own in extra time.

Kelly said: "Big Mich at it again! She is unbelievable and has got the world at her feet.

"A young player with a bright future and I am absolutely buzzing for her. This team shows resilience again and we fight back.

"Hopefully we can make it a little bit easier for ourselves – we don't need that panic.

"We have hope, we have belief and we have the quality. We need to keep at it."
