Congrats to the 12 players who have been named in our England Deaf squad for next month’s World Deaf Futsal Championship in Italy.
Preparations are already underway for the tournament, with the Para Lionesses playing out a 2-2 draw with Spain earlier in March.
“There is no greater honour that representing your country, this is even more special when it happens at a World Cup,” said Daley.
“I have the privilege of working with a special group of players and staff, which is further enhanced with all the support we have from colleagues within the para team and those at the FA.
“We as a group know the importance of wearing the Three Lions and the pride this brings to the nation and we will endeavour to compete, challenge, entertain and succeed in our quest at this major tournament.”
