England men’s under-17s hit five in their opening game of November camp against the USA with a 5-2 victory in Dubai.

The Young Lions’ opponents struck first, opening the scoring in the first half before adding a second after the break.

However, Liam Bramley’s side halved the deficit with just over an hour played. Brian Madjo made a run down the right channel, pulling the ball back to substitute Floyd Samba whose flick-on set up Mathis Eboue, as Eboue’s first-time effort rippled the net.

It wasn’t long before England were back on level terms. Kyran Thompson added his name to the scoresheet after taking aim from outside the box, curling in an impressive effort to get the Young Lions right back in the contest.

England flipped the script moments later when goalscorer Eboue was brought down inside the area. Madjo stepped up, rippling the net from the penalty spot, with the Young Lions leading in the game for the first time.

Eboue added a fourth with around ten minutes remaining on the clock, racing into the box and picking out the bottom corner to extend England’s lead.

And the Chelsea youngster completed his hat-trick when he made it five in a move which saw Joél Drakes-Thomas twist and turn his way into the box before standing up a cross which found Eboue at the back post to ripple the net.
