The UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 champions returned to St. George’s Park on Monday 20 October for the squad’s first training camp since their historic penalty shootout victory over Spain in Basel earlier this year.
To mark the occasion, Lionesses head coach Sarina Wiegman invited the full St. George’s Park team - from grounds-staff to sports science, performance and hospitality staff - to attend an open training session for an up-close view of the European champions in action.
After the session, the St. George’s Park team posed for a group photo with the entire squad and coaching staff, marking the connection between the national team and the home that helped shape their journey to glory.

Following the squad’s preparations in Staffordshire, Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium will be the setting for EURO winners England and Copa América champions Brazil on Saturday 25 October 2025 [5.30pm BST] in the first of four ‘Homecoming Series’ internationals.
Wiegman’s side will then travel to Pride Park Stadium in Derby three days later to face Australia on Tuesday 28 October 2025 [7pm GMT].
Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to celebrate the back-to-back UEFA Women’s EURO successes and tickets for both fixtures are available from our ticketing page.
