England women’s under-17s beat Norway on penalties following a 0-0 draw in the MIMA Cup.

After playing out a goalless stalemate, it came down to spot-kicks, with the Young Lionesses coming out on top 5-4 in the shootout.

Goalkeeper Victoria Rudz produced two saves, while Katie Scott, Zoe Ciccardini, Bryony Brodie, Aysia Matabaro and Chelsea N’Drin all converted their penalties.

Kerri Welsh’s side kicked off the competition with a 1-0 win over Mexico earlier in the week, with Brodie’s second-half strike the difference between the two teams.
