It’s another busy day for England’s men’s and women’s senior teams as they continue to prepare for their upcoming fixtures.
With seven days until the FIFA World Cup 2026 begins, Thomas Tuchel’s squad remain hard at work at their warm-up camp in Florida, while Sarina Wiegman’s side have landed in Spain ahead of a crucial qualifier for next summer’s Women’s World Cup.
You can find out below what’s happening in both England camps on Thursday.
Three Lions
The manager will be putting his players through their paces in their third training session of the week as they prepare for the first friendly of this camp against New Zealand on Saturday 6 June (4pm local/9pm BST kick-off).
After that, it’s back to the hotel for lunch, before two more players will join host Andrew Mensah for the second episode of Lions’ Den connected by EE. That will drop first on the app on Thursday evening, so stay tuned for the latest behind-the-scenes look into the Three Lions’ camp.
It’s a big week for England women, who face Spain and Ukraine in World Cup qualifying matches.
They arrived in Mallorca on Wednesday evening ahead of Friday’s meeting with the current world champions at the Mallorca Son Moix Stadium.
They are due to train at the stadium at lunchtime on Thursday and, after the session, Sarina Wiegman will sit down with the media for her pre-match press conference at 2pm (BST).
You’ll be able to watch the manager’s update live on the England app, where you’ll also be able to tune in to the highlights from training.
The Lionesses go into Friday’s game knowing that avoiding defeat will seal their qualification for next summer’s tournament in Brazil.
