What's coming up today for the England senior teams?

Here's what's on the agenda on Friday 5 June for the Three Lions and Lionesses

The England’s men’s and women’s senior teams are both now fully focused on matches, after a busy week spent on the training pitch in preparation.

Thomas Tuchel’s squad remain hard at work at their warm-up camp in Florida, while Sarina Wiegman’s side have landed in Spain ahead of a crucial qualifier for next summer’s Women’s World Cup.

You can find out below what’s happening in both England camps on Friday.

Three Lions

The squad will be back on the training pitch on Friday morning for their final session before Saturday's game with New Zealand in Tampa (4pm local/9pm BST kick-off).

Following training and lunch, Thomas Tuchel will speak at a press conference alongside one of the players on Friday afternoon so keep an eye out for coverage of that on the England app and across our channels.

Lionesses

It’s matchday for England women, as they take on Spain in a crucial World Cup qualifier on Friday evening (8pm BST kick-off).

The squad trained in Mallorca on Thursday while Sarina Wiegman and Lucy Bronze spoke to the media ahead of Friday’s meeting with the current world champions at the Mallorca Son Moix Stadium.

The Lionesses go into Friday’s game knowing that avoiding defeat will seal their qualification for next summer’s tournament in Brazil, and you'll be able to follow the game with our live blog on the England app which will start from around 5pm BST and be the first place the see the team news as well as more interaction and updates from the game. We'll also have all of the reaction from after the game.
