England's opening game of the FIFA World Cup 2026 will take place at the Dallas Stadium, in Arlington, Texas.

The venue will host nine FIFA World Cup 2026 matches, including five group stage games like Argentina v Austria, England v Croatia, knockout rounds, and a semi-final on 14 July.

Home to the Dallas Cowboys, the city hosted six matches at the Cotton Bowl in the FIFA World Cup USA 1994, including the Netherlands v Brazil quarter-final tie.

Whether you’re a visiting supporter or a local simply looking to soak in the atmosphere, the FIFA Fan Festival Dallas is staged at Fair Park in the city and is open everyday from Thursday 11 June until Sunday 19 July.

Getting to Dallas and where to stay

Trains: To access the Dallas Stadium using the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) train, we recommend purchasing a ticket using GoPass and boarding at Victory Station in downtown Dallas or the Central Station in downtown Fort Worth.

Planes: North Texas is served by two major airports: Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Dallas Love Field (DAL). Both provide convenient connections to public transportation, allowing visitors to travel easily between the airports and destinations across the region.
 
Car: The stadium is around 20 miles from Dallas city centre, so you should allow a minimum of 45 minutes to drive there. Ticketed holder parking is STRONGLY encouraged to be pre-purchased, which you can do here.
