England's last group stage match-up at the FIFA World Cup 2026 will take place at New York New Jersey Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, USA.
The venue will host the final of the World Cup on 19 July, the culmination of the tournament, along with seven further fixtures, including group stage and knockout ties.
Home to the New York Giants and the New York Jets, it is one of the largest stadiums in the NFL.
The City
Home to two NFL sides, the venue also regularly hosts other sports, with Manchester United v West Ham United, played at the stadium, drawing in the biggest crowd for a football match in the USA last year.
The stadium also hosted last year's FIFA Club World Cup Final, won by Chelsea, with over 81,000 fans in attendance.
NYNJ Stadium also regularly hosts international football matches, with the first fixture staged between Mexico and Ecuador in May 2010.
Fan Parks
There are a number of fan events taking place in NYNJ, including the Jersey fan hub, the Queens group stage HQ, the fan village Rockefeller Center, the Bronx fan zone, the Staten Island fan zone and the Brooklyn fan zone.
The Rockefeller Center rink will transform into a vibrant pitch surrounded by large screens for live match broadcasts. The celebration will extend across the entire three-block Rockefeller Center campus, including Top of the Rock from 6 July 6 to 19 July 2026.
Staten Island will deliver a more relaxed, family-oriented fan environment, anchored in community access and evening viewing moments, bringing the tournament atmosphere.
With its mix of waterfront views, creative culture, and destination foot traffic, Brooklyn will offer a curated, lifestyle-driven fan experience, blending matchday energy with food, music, and programming that reflects the borough’s role as a cultural epicenter.
Getting to New Jersey and where to stay
Trains: NJ Transit will be running a n expanded rail service from New York Penn Station and stations in New Jersey. All trains to the Stadium will connect through Secaucus Junction, where fans will transfer to a matchday-only train or bus direct to NYNJ Stadium—exclusively for ticket holders.
Planes: There are a number of airports close by to the venue, including Teterboro Airport - around four miles out - Newark Liberty International Airport, LaGuardia Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport.
