Ezri received his first senior team call-up for the games with Malta and North Macedonia in November 2023, after impressing with his performances for Aston Villa over a prolonged spell of time.
The east Londoner had previously been a regular for England with the national development teams, culminating in him being a part of the squad who won the FIFA U20 World Cup in South Korea in 2017 and the Toulon Tournament a year later.
After playing for the renowned boys' club of Senrab which had also produced the likes of Jermain Defoe, John Terry and Ledley King in previous years, Konsa was snapped up by Charlton Athletic as an apprentice and he went on to make his first-team debut as a teenager in 2015.
He spent two seasons at the Valley before switching to west London and Brentford, who signed him in the summer of 2018. An impressive campaign followed and after just one season with the Bees, he followed manager Dean Smith to Aston Villa.
