Jess received her first senior call-up in May 2024, when she was named within a 28-player squad to face four EURO Qualifiers across the summer.

The fleet-footed attacker had been a regular in England's development teams from the WU17s upwards in the years prior, and caught the eye of Sarina Wiegman and her staff with her performances for England WU23s and Spurs, who reached the Adobe Women's FA Cup Final in 2024.

Born and raised in Enfield, north London, Jess grew up watching her football-mad father and brother playing grassroots football before deciding to pull on her boots and join in at the age of eight.

It didn't take long before she was snapped up by Spurs, who were also playing at grassroots level themselves at that stage and her progress began. A move to Arsenal followed where she continued to develop in their academy before a BWSL debut arrived in February 2018.

By this stage, Spurs' women's team were on the up and Naz headed back across the north London divide to rejoin them as they reached the BWSL themselves.
