FIFA's Supporter Entry Tier category Explained for England Supporters Travel Club
FIFA's Supporter Entry Tier Category Explained
FIFA has announced the introduction of a new ‘Supporter Entry Tier’ category for association ticket allocations for FIFA World Cup 2026, priced at $60 (USD) per ticket.
This tier will be moved from the existing Supporter Value Tier category. These tickets are not in addition to the previously announced allocations.
Updated Ticket Category Splits
Based on our initial registration of interest, we will have enough ‘Supporter Entry Tier’ tickets to meet the demand of Top Cappers who applied for each match. These are ESTC members who are on a total of 62 active caps.
If more Top Cappers end up registering for any given match via FIFA’s application, which is open until Tuesday 13 January 2026, then a mini ballot will be held to decide who obtains these tickets. We will consult with supporters and the FSA to determine the fairest way to ballot these tickets, should we be oversubscribed in any match by Top Cappers.
If there are fewer top cappers than there are ‘Supporter Entry Tier’ tickets available for any given game, a mini ballot will be held. Once again, we will ensure appropriate consultation is undertaken before deciding on how this mini ballot operates.
The above does not change the initial registration guidance we outlined for members who are not Top Cappers.
Please note: Members will not see this category on the application portal. If you are a top capper and have already applied for Category 3 (Supporter Value Tier) you do not need to update your application or select the option to move down. This will be done for you once the application stage is complete and when the ESTC Team conduct any required ballots. If you are a top capper and wish to now apply, please select the 'Supporter Value Tier - Category 3' option and you will be considered for the new 'Supporter Entry Tier' tickets automatically. Further instructions will be sent to all members before the application window closes to ensure all members are aware on which categories they will obtain.
We have been advising all members to apply for their tickets by 11pm on Sunday 21 December. After this date, we have requested to receive the application data from FIFA. We will use this data to offer members final guidance on their application.
It is important to note that if you are unable to complete the application by Sunday 21 December that you will not be penalised. However, the more members who complete the application before this date will enable us to provide clearer, more tailored guidance to supporters to help you get the games and categories you wish based on your caps total, avoiding higher categories as much as possible.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We will continue to provide updates as the application process progresses. Any queries regarding your application can be directed to ESTC@TheFA.com.
