Chloe Kelly speaks after 'amazing night' at Wembley
The Lionesses goalscorer was pleased with the display against Portugal on Friday night
MATCH REPORT: ENGLAND 6-0 PORTUGAL
England’s Chloe Kelly was delighted to make the scoresheet in a stunning 6-0 triumph for the Lionesses over Portugal in the UEFA Women’s Nations League.
Victory came under the famous Wembley arch – a stage the 27 year old is only too used to scoring on – with Kelly capping off a memorable month, having won the UEFA Women’s Champions League with loan club Arsenal just under a week ago.
And finding the back of the net for her country was the perfect way to put the icing on the cake for Kelly.
"An amazing night at Wembley with our fans and a great team performance,” reflected Kelly. “All the girls were on fire tonight.
"I'm very grateful and I keep moving forward and trying to learn as much as I can and take a lot of info on board and keep progressing.”

The forward was introduced off the bench with 57 minutes played, replacing Lauren Hemp, and it didn’t take her long to make her mark, making it six for England in the 62nd minute.
But it was Aggie Beever-Jones who wrote the headlines after bagging a first-half hat-trick on her first senior start.
"Aggie is unbelievable,” praised Kelly. “She's on fire at the minute and hopefully she can keep going and keep moving forward into the summer.
Tonight’s result sees Sarina Wiegman’s side take huge strides forward in their preparation for this summer’s major tournament in Switzerland.
The Lionesses face Spain on Tuesday night at the RCDE Stadium to round off the group stage of the Nations League before a final send-off fixture against Jamaica at the King Power Stadium in June before EURO 2025 gets underway.
"We want to keep improving as the weeks go on,” affirmed Kelly. “We know that we are nearing the tournament now.
“We showed tonight a great team performance but we go again, we rest and recover and go again on Tuesday against Spain."
