What's coming up today for the England men's team?

Here's what's on the agenda for the Three Lions on Friday 12 June ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026

England men’s team are just days away from kicking off their FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign, which begins with a clash against Croatia in five days' time on Wednesday 17 June 2026 (9pm BST).

Thomas Tuchel’s side have defeated both New Zealand and Costa Rica as part of their pre-tournament camp in Florida, which is now drawing to a close as the competition kicked-off with the first game between Mexico and South Africa on Thursday afternoon.

Find out below what’s happening in the camp on Friday, as the World Cup heads into its second day.

Three Lions

Following the win over Costa Rica in Orlando on Wednesday evening, a number of the squad had a recovery.session on Thursday, while others participated in a behind-closed-doors practice game against local side Miami FC.

With the players enjoying time off on Thursday afternoon, they will return to the hotel on Friday evening to pack up before they travel to their World Cup basecamp in Kansas City on Saturday, where preparations for the opening game will continue.
