Harry Kane equalled Gary Lineker’s record for the most goals scored for the England men’s national team at the FIFA World Cup with his brace against Croatia.
The Three Lions captain, who trailed Lineker by two goals heading into England’s World Cup 2026 opener in Dallas, was at the double in the first half, taking him level.
Kane broke into double digits, making it ten goals in 12 appearances at the tournament – an identical record to Lineker’s.
