Ben Futcher's Young Lions were narrowly beaten in Spain
England men’s under-19s were beaten 1-0 by Belgium in their final outing of the September-October international window.
It marked the Young Lions’ first defeat of the campaign, having recorded wins over the Republic of Ireland, Norway and the USA.
Ben Futcher’s side headed out to Marbella, Spain for three of their four games during camp, with England’s game against Belgium bringing to a close an extended international window.
The Young Lions played out a goalless first half and up until the final moments of the contest, the two teams were locked in stalemate, until England’s opponents broke the deadlock in the 90th minute.
