A key figure in the England MU21s' EURO winning team of 2023, Curtis received his first senior call-up in May 2024 as part of Gareth Southgate's training squad ahead of EURO 2024 after an impressive campaign with Liverpool in the Premier League.
Liverpool born, central midfielder Jones has been on the books of his hometown club since the age of nine after playing for grassroots club Mossley Hill in the same team as another future England and Liverpool player Missy-Bo Kearns.
From there, he progressed through the youth ranks at Anfield before making his senior debut for the Reds in January 2019.
Curtis was also a regular for the Young Lions throughout the age groups, featuring for the MU16s, MU17s, MU18s, MU19s before stepping into the MU21s where he went on to pick up 20 caps over two EURO campaigns, culminating in his winning goal against Spain in a man-of-the-match performance in the U21 EURO Final of 2023.
