England men's all-time record goalscorers list
Harry Kane extends his lead at the top of England men's all-time record goalscorers list after his goals against Finland
Harry Kane’s brace against Finland on his 100th appearance means he is now on 68 goals for the Three Lions as he continues to extend his lead at the top of England men’s senior team’s list of all-time record goalscorers.
Kane went level with Jimmy Greaves on 44 England goals with his hat-trick against Albania in November 2021 and managed to make the leap to third in one night with four first-half goals at the San Marino Stadium in Serravalle during the Three Lions’ 10-0 win three days' later.
A penalty against Switzerland in March 2022 then moved him on to 49 goals, alongside the legendary Charlton, before improving his impressive record even further against Germany in June and then September.
Kane's outstanding form at major tournaments continued with a 52nd goal against Senegal in the last 16 of the 2022 FIFA World Cup before he moved level with Wayne Rooney at the top of England men’s senior team’s list of all-time record goalscorers in the quarter-final defeat to France.
And on Thursday 23 March 2023, Kane put England 2-0 up against Italy just before half time to make it 54 goals in 81 appearances for his country's senior team and thus become the record goalscorer for the Three Lions.
