Cole Palmer will not travel with England MU21s for their 2025 U21 EURO qualifier against Ukraine on Monday 16 October.
Head coach Lee Carsley confirmed today that the Chelsea midfielder will return to his club for further assessment after suffering a dead leg during the 9-1 victory over Serbia on Thursday.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper James Beadle will also remain in England and join Joe Edwards’ Elite League Squad for their U20 EURO Elite League fixture against Portugal at Stadium MK on Tuesday 17 October.
9pm, Wednesday 11 October
Taylor Harwood-Bellis will play no part in England men's under-21s’ upcoming EURO 2025 qualifiers against Serbia and Ukraine.
Manager Lee Carsley confirmed that Harwood-Bellis has not joined up with his squad at St. George’s Park this week and has remained with his club for further assessment.
9am, Tuesday 10 October
Newcastle United's Sean Neave has joined up with the England MU17s squad for their games with Norway at St. George's Park.
5.30pm, Monday 9 October
Bukayo Saka will play no part in England’s fixtures with Australia and Italy.
The Arsenal forward reported to St. George’s Park on Monday alongside the rest of the Three Lions’ squad.
Having missed Arsenal’s Premier League win against Manchester City on Sunday through injury, Saka was assessed by the England medical team and it was decided the player would continue his rehabilitation at his club.
No replacements are planned with Gareth Southgate having a squad of 25 players to work with.
England play host to Australia on Friday (13 0ctober, 7.45pm) before returning to Wembley Stadium connected by EE to face Italy in a UEFA EURO 2024 qualifier on Tuesday (17 October, 7.45pm kick-off).
Ezra Carrington of Manchester City has been called into the England MU19s squad, to replace Arsenal's Amario Cozier-Duberry, who has withdrawn injured. Simon Rusk's squad are travelling to Montenegro for their UEFA U19 EURO first qualifying round games.
9am, Monday 9 October
Manchester City's Matthew Warhurst has been called into the England MU18s squad to replace Glasgow Rangers' Zakariya Lovelave, who has withdrawn injured. Ryan Garry's squad are in Marbella, Spain for a tournament featuring Belgium, Morocco and Korea Republic.
8pm, Sunday 8 October
Reading's Nelson Abbey has been added to the England Men's Elite League squad to replace Arsenal's Reuell Walters, who has withdrawn through injury. Joe Edwards and his squad will play Romania and Portugal in October to kick-off their 2023-24 campaign.
