England Blind Women lifted the IBSA Tri-Nations Cup this weekend, beating both Sweden and Poland in the tournament at St. George’s Park.
A 2-0 victory over Poland in their first outing got England up and running in the competition.
Lucja Wyrwantowicz broke the deadlock, beating three opposition players before taking aim as the ball found a way through.
Chloe McBratney added a second from the penalty spot later in the game to double England’s lead, although she was denied another after her second spot kick was well saved.

England then overcame Sweden in their second match-up, registering a 2-1 win.
After racing through on goal and beating the goalkeeper from a difficult angle, Wyrwantowicz added a second when she raced into the box once again, weaving in and out of two yellow shirts and blasting the ball into the roof of the net.
Sweden pulled a goal back but it was nothing more than a consolation with England victorious.
England came up against Sweden in the final, making it three wins on the spin with goals from top scorer Wyrwantowicz and Samantha Gough as they ran out 2-0 winners to be crowned champions.
