England MU17s squad named for EURO Finals
Young Lions head coach Neil Ryan has picked his squad for this month's Finals in Albania

The England men’s under-17s squad head to Albania this month for the 2025 UEFA U17 EURO Finals, and the squad for the tournament has been named.
Head coach Neil Ryan has selected his squad for the Finals, which begin next week when England start their group stage against Belgium on Tuesday 20 May (5pm BST).
The Young Lions then face Italy on Friday 23 May (7.30pm BST) before their final group match against Czechia on Monday 26 May (7.30pm BST).
All three group games will be staged at the Stadium Arena Egnatia in Rrogozhine, with the top two teams from the group progressing to the semi-finals which will be staged on Thursday 29 May.
Ryan’s squad have reached the Finals after coming through two qualifying rounds with aplomb, winning all six of their games which started last November in Malta with victories against the group hosts, Latvia and Sweden.

England then hosted the second qualifying round stage in March with wins over Israel, Slovenia and Northern Ireland to seal their spot in the EURO Finals as well as the FIFA U17 World Cup which will be held in Qatar later this year.
The group will meet up later this week to start their preparations before they head to Albania on Friday to begin the tournament.
England’s last title in the UEFA U17 EURO came back in 2014, when John Peacock’s team beat Netherlands in the Final having also won the championship back in 2010.
All games in the Finals will be streamed live on UEFA.TV.
