Dates confirmed for the Lionesses' 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifiers

MEET THE LIONESSES SQUAD

England will begin, and finish, their 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign with games against Ukraine, after the release of fixture details following the draw earlier this week.

Sarina Wiegman’s team were drawn out in League A, Group 3 alongside current world champions Spain, Iceland and Ukraine as the road to Brazil begins. 

And the Lionesses will start against Ukraine in March, before they then play their first game at home when Iceland are the visitors on Saturday 7 March, before Spain follow in April.

Ukraine v England: Tuesday 3 March 2026

England v Iceland: Saturday 7 March 2026

England v Spain: Tuesday 14 April 2026

Iceland v England: Saturday 18 April 2026

Spain v England: Friday 5 June 2026

England v Ukraine: Tuesday 9 June 2026
