England women’s under-19s topped their group with a 5-0 victory over Montenegro in the Young Lionesses’ 2026 UEFA Women’s Under-17 European Championship qualifying campaign.

England, who had already progressed to the next round of qualification, made it three wins from three, beating Scotland and Poland earlier this month.

Chelsea N’Drin broke the deadlock early in the first half for the Young Lionesses at Stadion Miejski Gdyni.

On the half-hour mark, defender Katie Scott doubled Kerri Welsh’s side’s lead in Poland.

And just minutes later, England had a third as forward N’Drin bagged a brace.

Just before half time, Welsh’s team were four up through an own goal from opposition defender Azra Orahovac.

And Isabella Cowley made it a five-star performance, adding her name to the scoresheet deep into stoppage time in the second half.
