Find out what's on the agenda for the Three Lions on Monday 6 July 2026

What goes on behind the scenes in the England camp during the FIFA World Cup 2026? Here, you can find out in Three Lions Daily.

England put in a heroic performance to defeat Mexico 3-2 at Mexico City Stadium on Sunday, earning themselves a spot in the World Cup quarter-finals against Norway.

Thomas Tuchel and his players flew back to their basecamp in Kansas City a few hours after the full-time whistle, and today will be all about rest and recovery for the squad.

The headlines

Watch the highlights from our epic victory as two goals from Jude Bellingham and a penalty from Harry Kane sealed a famous knockout win.

Bellingham discusses the squad's togetherness after they managed to see out the game despite being reduced to 10 men early in the second half.

Tuchel reflects on a "crazy game" at Mexico City Stadium, which saw a penalty for each team, a red card and five goals following a one-hour kick-off delay.

Rest and recovery

The squad will get together for breakfast before a full day of recovery as they begin getting physically ready for their next game on Saturday.
