Have you made your World Cup squad selection yet? Follow Peter Crouch by picking your team

Having represented England at the FIFA 2006 World Cup himself, former Three Lions striker Peter Crouch knows a thing or two about what a perfect World Cup squad should look like.

And the former QPR, Southampton, Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and Portsmouth man has now revealed who he thinks should be on the plane to North America this summer, via the England World Cup Squad Selector.

Crouchy went with three goalkeepers, eight defenders, eight midfielders and seven attackers and said: "I've made some big calls in there, but I've enjoyed every minute of being Thomas Tuchel."

Crouchy's Squad

Goalkeepers: Nick Pope, Jordan Pickford, Dean Henderson

Defenders: Luke Shaw, John Stones, Reece James, Marc Guéhi, Ezri Konsa, Nico O'Reilly, Harry Maguire, Lewis Hall

Midfielders: Jordan Henderson, Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham, Cole Palmer, Kobbie Mainoo, Adam Wharton, Morgan Rogers, Elliot Anderson

Forwards: Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka, Jarrod Bowen, Anthony Gordon, Danny Welbeck

Do you agree with his squad selection? Why not have a go and pick your own squad?

Available to play via the official England app, you can pick your 26-man squad for this summer's World Cup and be in with a chance of winning a signed shirt from the final squad should your pick match Thomas Tuchel's when he names his selection on Friday 22 May, which will also appear first on the England app.

The game is open until 11.59pm on Thursday 21 May, so enter now and be in with a chance.
