The midfielder from Guernsey received his first senior call-up to the England squad for the final two World Cup qualifiers of 2025, after impressing Thomas Tuchel with his performances for AFC Bournemouth.

Scott was no stranger to international football with the Three Lions, having been capped through various development teams and also winning two titles with both the MU19s at their EURO Finals in 2023 and then with the MU21s who became European champions in 2025.

Following his call-up, Scott will be looking to follow in the footsteps of fellow Channel Islanders Matt Le Tissier and Graeme Le Saux by representing England at senior level after a journey which has taken him from grassroots football in Guernsey, where he became the youngest player to represent Guernsey FC, to cutting his teeth in the EFL Championship with Bristol City.

From there, he switched to the South Coast in the summer of 2023 by joining Bournemouth and has been a Premier League regular ever since.
