Voting for England Player of the Year Award connected by EE is open

Fans can now make their pick for the Three Lions and Lionesses players who impressed them the most in 2022-23

The nominees for our England Player of the Year Awards connected by EE for 2022-23 can be revealed, and the voting period is now open.

Players who featured in over 50 per cent of games across the season are nominated, after what has been a busy year for both teams following the Three Lions' FIFA World Cup in December while the Lionesses were securing their own qualification for this summer's FIFA Women's World Cup.

There are 13 players on both the men's and women's shortlist, which can be seen below:-

England men's nominees: Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane, Harry Maguire, Jordan Pickford, Marcus Rashford, Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Luke Shaw, John Stones, Kyle Walker

England women's nominees: Millie Bright, Lucy Bronze, Jess Carter, Rachel Daly, Mary Earps, Alex Greenwood, Lauren Hemp, Lauren James, Chloe Kelly, Alessia Russo, Georgia Stanway, Ella Toone, Keira Walsh

Voting is open until midnight on Sunday 3 September 2023 and winners will be announced later this year.
