Will Antwi's team advance to the next stage of qualifying

ENGLAND MU19S HOME

England men’s under-19s made it three from three in their UEFA U19 EURO 2026 qualifying campaign, beating Scotland 4-0 in their final fixture in the first qualifying round.

Will Antwi’s side – who also overcame Lithuania in a 2-0 victory before running out 7-0 winners over Latvia – topped their group to advance to the next stage with another impressive display.

The Young Lions made the breakthrough with just under half-an-hour played. Jesse Derry saw his effort on goal blocked before the ball fell to Chris Rigg. The midfielder brought it down for Shumaira Mheuka who finished from a tight angle.

And Mheuka added a second around five minutes later. Derry’s ball in from the left picked out the forward who tapped home from close range to make it four goals in two games for the Chelsea starlet.

After the break, the Young Lions put themselves firmly in the driving seat when Rigg made it three. Derry’s cross into the box wasn’t cleared properly, headed out as far as Rigg who volleyed home.

And around ten minutes after being introduced from the bench, substitute Jack Fletcher added his name to the scoresheet, winning back possession inside the penalty area and slotting in a fourth for England.
