Sarina Wiegman has named 25 players for England’s two fixtures later this month, as the UEFA Women's EURO 2025 champions return to action for the first time since their historic summer.

In the first of four ‘Homecoming Series’ internationals, the Lionesses will face South American champions Brazil at the City of Manchester Stadium on Saturday 25 October [5.30pm BST], before meeting Australia at Derby County’s Pride Park Stadium on Tuesday 28 October [7pm GMT].

Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to celebrate the back-to-back UEFA Women’s EURO successes and tickets for both fixtures are available from our ticketing page.

20 of the EURO-winning squad retain their place with Lauren Hemp, Lauren James and Leah Williamson missing due to injury.

There are debut call-ups for Katie Reid, Lucia Kendall and Taylor Hinds, all of whom have been capped across the England pathway. Laura Blindkilde Brown and Missy Bo Kearns return.

The meeting with Brazil will rekindle memories of the 2023 Finalissima, where the Lionesses triumphed in dramatic fashion following a penalty shootout at Wembley Stadium connected by EE.

The fixture with Australia marks the first encounter between the two nations since their thrilling 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup semi-final in Sydney, where England secured a memorable 3-1 victory against the Matildas.

Wiegman said: “It’s great to be back and we’re really looking forward to playing in front of our fantastic home support again after such an incredible summer in Switzerland. We felt the energy from the stands throughout the tournament and we’re grateful to have our fans with us again in October and November.

“In Brazil and Australia we’ll be facing two top opponents who will each test us in different ways, which is exactly the kind of challenge we need as we prepare for World Cup qualification starting early next year.

“It’s lovely to celebrate success but this is also the start of a new cycle with new opportunities and objectives. I cannot wait to get everyone together and started next week.”

The ’Homecoming Series’ will conclude with a fixture against Asian champions China PR on Saturday 29 November [5.30pm BST] at Wembley Stadium, with over 70,000 tickets already sold. Tickets remain available via our ticketing page.

The team’s historic year will then draw to a close with a first-ever meeting with Ghana at St Mary’s Stadium, the home of Southampton, on Tuesday 2 December [7pm BST]. Tickets go on sale to My England Football members on Monday 20 October.

The draw for the FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers will take place on Tuesday 4 November, confirming England’s three opponents for the first half of 2026.
